Product Description
Repositionable toys include a soft hanging monkey, a soft toucan with jingle, an elephant with soft ears and a spinner with beads, a parrot with a paddle spinner and a frog character mirror. Two satin butterflies fly around above baby as colored lights pulse on and off while music plays. The large mat has a quilted rainforest underside, sun ray ribbons, and a soft tiger tail. A large soft giraffe sits at the bottom of the rainbow arch and has two points on which to link toys for baby. Mom can also link the toys to any of three link points on the mat as well as to any of five link points overhead for a total of 11 places to link toys for baby. Mom can choose between three modes of play: Baby mode allows baby's play time movements to set off eight to 12 seconds of lights and music. Music mode plays music for 20 minutes while baby plays. Rainforest mode plays 20 minutes of rainforest sounds while baby plays. The gym provides four songs and two sound effects sequences. Requires 2-C batteries, not included. Gym measures 20" x 32.5" x 32.5".

[Rating : 4 out of 5]  Rainforest Baby Gym  August 31, 2010

It was a gift to one of our close relatives. The clothing material is soft and of good quality. Forest sounds are very catchy for little ears. The lights on the top are attention grabbers. However, I found that the lights may switch off now and then to presever battery life. It is a minor inconvenience. I definitely recommend it to a friend.

[Rating : 5 out of 5]  Love this gym!  August 29, 2010

I bought this playgym for my son who just turned 2 months. He is a fussy little guy who doesn't like to be left by himself and wants to be held every 5 minutes. So I was a bit apprehensive before buying this. However boy oh boy! Does he love his playgym :) Now even if he is cranky if I put him down in his gym there are enough objects in it to hold his attention for lengthy periods without me having to give him constant attention. He loves the multiple colors and the animals in there, cooing to them as if in "conversation". I love the fact that it is light, easy to clean and has a mode of sound where the music starts when the baby kicks or touches it. A very good buy!

[Rating : 2 out of 5]  defective toy  August 29, 2010

It is not as great as mentioned in the product description. Besides the spinning butterflies don't spin at all.

Apparently most of fisher price's products have some faulty. I bought the forest mobile and two screws were missing. I didn't send it back because it was too much of a hassle for two screws and I live out of USA.

I wouldn't recommend any fisher price toy and I am not buying any again.

[Rating : 4 out of 5]  fun time in the jungle  August 28, 2010

my now 6mo son loooves this product. my sister bought it when he was around 2mo old, and he's been having fun ever since. he would lie there watching and trying to grab the toys and now that he's learning to sit i can sit him under the toys and he can touch and 'eat' the toys.

he also love to play with the leaf and zebra tail. the mirror does face outwards and not inwards, but it's been useful when my son learns to roll on his tummy. he could stare at himself for a long time on his tummy.

so far he's been learning to touch, roll, sit and now crawl under this gym set.

[Rating : 4 out of 5]  So cute and colorful  August 26, 2010

I love this activity mat. It has quite a few toys and empty hooks to put your own. The music is very nice and not annoying. I wish that the butterflies didn't get in the way of the flashing lights at the top though. My guy has reflux so I usually put him on the boppy looking up. If he's been awake (and digesting) long enough we do tummy time here too.
