| Customer Reviews [Rating : 5 out of 5] Crane works very well September 2, 2010 This humidifier is much better than the ones I grew up with as a child. It is really quiet, if it wasn't for the mist you wouldn't even be able to tell that it is on. I also like the automatic shut off if the water runs out. You do have to clean it once a week, but that beats spending money on a filter every week. After awhile the savings on not buying filters can add up. Filters are supposed to last longer than that but we have a lot of minerals in our water. With our old humidifier, the filters used to get really crusted up with mineral deposits. I really like this humidifier! I was so tired of constantly having to buy filters every week in order use my old humidifier, so when the motor finally blew it was a blessing. I decided that I would not buy another unless it was filterless. I thought my search would take forever, but just a few clicks on the internet and I found this Humidifier. there were a lot of postive reveiws, which made me feel better. [Rating : 5 out of 5] Great Cool Mist Humidifier for Rooms August 31, 2010 This is a great little humidifier for rooms up to 20 x 20, maybe a little more space--but only if it is entirely enclosed. Any more space than that and you may be asking too much of this unit. It pours out humidified air nice and quiet. It could be easier to refill, the conical shape of the removable water reservoir is a bit odd, and because of this shape you must hold up the reservoir while you refill it. [Rating : 4 out of 5] Great Humidifier. August 30, 2010 Great cool-mist humidifier. My only gripe is that it needs a bigger water-tank. I have to refill it completely every night. Given that I live in Tucson and the air is tremendously dry. Maybe in more humid places you could skip a night. It is really lightweight, and puts out some serious mist when it's cranked up (for about 6 hours, then it needs a refill). [Rating : 1 out of 5] Water in, no mist out August 28, 2010 This humidifier was such a disappointment, especially since I've owned a Crane product before (and was happy with it). This machine was defective, and despite my best efforts to troubleshoot, it is being returned. I filled the tank and followed the directions perfectly, but it never produced any humidity/mist. I spent an embarrasing amount of time with a level (to determine if water flow direction was an issue), I cleaned the nebulizer nozzle (packing dust?), checked the connections, let it dry out and try again. Nope. It just didn't work. I'll spend a bit more and get something higher quality. [Rating : 5 out of 5] So far, so good August 18, 2010 I purchased the Crane 2.3 gallon cool mist humidifier for my son's nursery after my crane adorable elephant humidifier stopped working. I was hesitant to purchase another Crane product, however, weighing price and other reviews on the product I decided to try again. It has been 2 months and the product is working beautifully. This humidifier works well on a small bedroom. In fact, I keep it on the lowest setting. | |
